Lingonberries grow wild in the Scandinavian forest, and they’re a pure vitamin boost. The bobbles on this hat reminds me of the red berries growing on the forest floor.

LINGON hat is knitted holding two strands of yarn together, one strand of merino yarn in DK, and one strand of silk mohair lace weight. This creates a body of the DK yarn, and a halo of mohair to add depth and texture to the hat. The bobbles are worked using only the mohair to add extra interest to the fabric.

The pattern offers a fun knit, and you can choose between two sizes of bobbles as well as two lengths of the hat, slouchy or beanie. The slouchy hat in the pictures have the smaller bobbles and the blue/pink beanie has the larger bobbles. Both beanie and slouchy are worked identical until the decreases start on the next page.
