Inspired by my recent trip to Sweden, this useful vest is named after the wonderful botanist Carl Linnaeus.
Warm and feminine with a lovely drape, the garment works well as a stand alone vest or as an extra layer over a blouse or long sleeved tee.
The yarn is amazingly lovely to work with, showing up stitch detail well and allowing the shaping decreases to drape elegantly.
The pattern is worked flat in two pieces and then seamed at both shoulders before working a clever moss stitch neckband in the round. The sturdy buttonholes are designed to hold the button in place to avoid any nuisance escapes!
