ERRATA:
I updated the pattern and changed the instructions for buttonholes a little.
This is how they go now:
Row 4 - girl version: k until 1 st before marker, m1r, k1, sm, k1, m1l repeat from * 3 times more, knit until 4 sts and make first buttonhole: k2tog, yo, k2.
Row 4 - boy version: k2, yo, k2tog, k until 1 st before marker, m1r, k1, sm, k1, m1l repeat from * 3 times more, knit until the end.

They should be better especially if you decide to make buttonholes all the way down the front.

Please bear in mind that the pattern has not been tested, so if you encounter any mistakes feel free to contact me any time. I’d be more that happy to help you and get feedback from you.
