The Linus pants are unisex baby leggings with suspenders that hold them in place as the tiny human explores the world. They also sport a subtle cable detail on the sides. Worked in the round from the waist down, buttonholes are added to the 2x2 ribbing. Legs are worked separately in the round with the crotch area sewn up afterwards, stitches are picked up mid-back and the suspenders are worked separately back and forth in 1x1 ribbing. Finally, two buttons are sewn on to the suspenders. To get more wear out of one garment as the baby grows, make the legs as well as the suspenders longer (cuff the legs initially, add extra buttons/move buttons as needed).

Linus jsou legíny pro miminka a batolata s copánky po stranách nohavic a šlemi. Dítě tak může objevovat svět, aniž by kalhoty padaly. Pleteme od pasu dolů - žebrování v pase zahrnuje knoflíkové dírky pro připevnění šlí. Nohavice oddělíme, pleteme jednu po druhé a díru v rozkroku vzniklou při rozdělené posléze sešijeme. Oka na šle nabereme ze zadního okraje žebrování v pase, na jednotlivé pásky přišijeme knoflíky. Dobu, po kterou děťátku kalhoty pohodlně padnou můžeme rozšířit prodloužením
lemů nohavic a pásků šlí o několik centimetrů.
