This pattern is for a lion with a loopy mane.

I made it using chenille yarn (size 6 super bulky) and the lion ended up being around 15″ tall.

I embroidered on the eyes/nose but you could also use safety eyes if you wanted (I embroidered because I am giving it to a baby).

There are a few notes on the pattern where I think things could possibly be improved, but I have not tested them so your mileage may vary.
