The dainty evening sweater and partner, a lacy cardigan lined with a heavy blue poulet silk to match the color of the sweater, are shown on the model above. At left is the sweater showing the unusual shoulder ties.

Materials: 12 (12-14) 1oz. skeins Lincoln Mills “Daphne” crochet wool—7 (7-8) skeins in main shade for cardigan; 5 (5-6) skeins in contrast shade for sweater (this is the only wool which should be used); 1 pair each No. 10, 11, and 13 knitting needles; No. 4 steel crochet hook; 1yd. poult taffeta to match sweater; 1yd. ½in. petersham ribbon; 8 button moulds.

Measurements:
Cardigan—To fit 32in. (34-36in.) bust—Length from top of shoulder, 18½in. (19½-20in.). Sleeve seam 4½in. (5-5in.).
Sweater—To fit 32in. (34-36in.) bust—Length from top of shoulder, 18½in. (19-19in.).

Tension:
Cardigan—7½ sts. and 10 rows to 1in. Sweater—8 sts. and 11 rows to 1in.
