Notes: Lisse is a double knitted, reversible, modular coat with a big hood or fold-over collar. It has no shaping, and can be either long or cropped. It uses a smooth DK yarn on the RS and a textured yarn on the WS to mimic quilt batting or faux shearling. The jacket is constructed from striped squares which are knitted flat modularly to connect and grow square-by-square, from the bottom-up. The body is seamless except for the shoulders, which are seamed after blocking for structure. The drop shoulder sleeves are knitted flat, then seamed closed and joined using mattress stitch. The boxy sleeves are generously sized for layering, and the cuff can be folded to show the contrast side or to adjust sleeve length. The hems are contrast i-cord edging applied at the end like quilt binding.
