Lithography features a striking lace pattern that brings to mind bold and beautiful block prints.

Yarn overs and decreases are worked from both the right and wrong side of the work, to create sweeping leaves around a moss stitch blossom. Garter stitch borders the shawl and a clever bind off incorporates button loops at the edge.

If you decide at the end of your shawl, to eliminate the button loops, you can stick with a regular knitted bind off and use a shawl pin instead.

Pattern is charted but includes written instructions for the chart rows. A 20-stitch repeat is grayed out in the chart, making this pattern easily adaptable. Make a wider shawl, a narrow scarf, or a large throw or baby blanket.

Swatch on smaller or larger needles to adapt this pattern to a finer weight project or a super-sized bulky project!

Happy knitting!!!
