Lithriad is a top-down seamless yoke sweater that is knit in the round. There is a ribbed neckline followed by short rows at the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. There is a repeated slip stitch motif all the way down the sweater. There is never more than one colour used in each round, so knitting Lithriad is simple to work, but creates effective textured colorwork. This pattern includes alternatives for short sleeves, long sleeves, as well as a steeked cardigan.

Gauge

21 stitches & 32 rows = 10cm/4” in slip stitch knitting according to chart, with larger needles, knitted in the round, after blocking.
Please note that gauge varies between stockinette stitch and slip stitch knitting.

Ease

Recommended ease: 10cm/4” positive ease.
Choose a size that is 10cm/4” larger than your actual bust circumference.
Neck ease: 2.5cm/1”
