The Little Acorns Cowl, named after the proverb that mighty oaks grow from little acorns, is the crochet version of my knit Snowdrop Cowl. It’s designed using front post stitches to create texture symbolizing acorns. Written in three sizes, this cowl is also meant to be a quick project, great for gifts or markets. Pattern is worked flat, seamed to create cowl shape, and finished with optional fringe.

Finished measurements -
Circumference: 30 (35, 40)”
Height: 6 (8, 10)”

You will need 1 (2, 3) skeins of hue + me in “toast” or approximately 137 (172, 300) yards of bulky weight level 5 yarn

US I (5.5 mm) crochet hook (needed for small size)
US J (6 mm) crochet hook (needed for medium size)
US K (6.5 mm) crochet hook (needed for large size)

Pattern does not include color change details like sample size medium; however, if you have an extra contrast color, you can easily substitute the front post treble cluster stitches to make the ““little acorns” pop.
