A cute, toddler hat with bear ears, this beanie uses two yarns held together to give it an extra cozy squish.

Sizes
Toddler (approximately 1-2 years old)
Dimensions: 16” wide (around) and 24 cm / 7.5” high (from cast on edge).

Gauge
24 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch with both yarns held together (before blocking, see pic)

Materials
• 3.5 mm (US 4) needles (circular or interchangeable, I used a 22” inch cable with the magic loop method)
• 3.5 mm (US 4) double pointed needles (DPNs) for the crown
• 2.5 (US 1.5) double pointed needles (DPNs) for the ears)
• 4 markers
• Tapestry needle

Yarn:
Two strands of fingering or light fingering weight yarn in two different colors. You could also use a
single strand of DK weight yarn.

Colors used:
• Color 1 (C1), 1 skein
(I used 32 g/118 yds of madelinetosh Tosh Mo Light in Paper (white)
• Color 2 (C2)), 1 skein
(I used 34g/135 yds) madelinetosh Tosh Sock in Neon Peach (pink)
