Little Boat Sock
I got the inspiration for these jolly Little Boat Socks when I was giftet 2 skeins of blue non super wash, hand dyed sock yarn from Helle at the Danish Dyelot as we met on Osterøy, outside Bergen in Norway last spring. It was as if she gave me woolen threads of sea and sky. I used left over yarns for the red and white.
Any sock yarn of your liking with the same meterage, 400 m/ 100 g and the same gauge would fit this project.
The pattern is written in one size over 72 sts, but it’s easily adjustable with a change of gauge, needles or yarn.
How much yarn did I use?
Blue 40 g
Light blue 30 g
White 2 g
Red 5 g
I have increased the amounts a bit in the pattern as you might want to make a longer leg or foot or have another gauge.
You can find more inspiration on my Youtube channel Sofia’s Tales and on Instagram @sofiastales
Much joy!
