This is my Little Stocking pattern! This stocking if made with the same hook size and same yarn weight turns out to be approx 8-9 inches long excluding the hanger. It is also about 3.5-4 inches wide. Its perfect for putting small things like chocolates or even candy canes in it! I used just under 90 yards for the main body colour and only a little bit of the top white colour so it’s perfect to use up some of those scrap left overs from larger skeins. There is only 2 parts of sewing to be done and it’s very minimal sewing. I used a 4mm hook with a 4 weight/worsted weight yarn. If you use thicker yarn and a larger hook your stocking will be much bigger. Also with a lighter weight yarn and a smaller hook your stocking will be smaller. Note: if you use a different weight of yarn you may need to adjust the certain parts that I adjusted to make any seams or stitch jumps to the side where you won’t see them. In the pattern you will notice these parts because I mention placing extra stitches and moving the stitch marker to a new starting point. Well, I guess that covers all the info for this one… I hope you enjoy my pattern and that you love making your own Little Christmas Stockings!
Merry Christmas Everyone! ;) :) Enjoy!
