The daisy border on this blanket is reminiscent of summertime. What a cheerful way to crochet away the fall/winter blues and make something special for a new little person.
Pattern is written using US crochet terminology and uses mostly basic crochet stiches: sc, ch, dc, sl st. It also uses fpdc and puff stitch (instructions for puff stitch are given). Instructions are given for color scheme shown in picture, but color scheme can be changed to suit your liking.

Advanced skill level is needed for this pattern because you must be able to carry and change colors.

Approximate weights for yarn needed:
Blue - 12 ozs
White - 5 ozs
Green - 3 ozs
Yellow - 2 ozs
