This infinity scarf is a light and drapey piece inspired by my all- time favorite stop motion film, Coraline! The chunky crisscross detailing at the seaming is a wearable nod to the film’s adorable wardrobe and infamous button eyes, while the colorways chosen are reminiscent of Coraline’s hair, gloves, and The Other Mother’s garden. Both sides are worked in an i-cord edge giving it a nice, polished feel. Though there are no buttons on the shown sample piece, you can definitely add them as a decorative touch in any color - though “black is traditional” ;).
Instructions for the main pattern are both charted and written.
Recommended yarn is Malabrigo’s Washted superwash in colorways Whales Road, Camaleon, and Diana.

NOTE: You must know how to make a 3 stitch i-cord for this pattern (this is for the lacing).
