This 4-in-1 pattern includes instructions for 2 styles and 2 designs: a dainty strappy bag or a pouch with either a cherry blossom or a daisy.

It’s made of 2 granny squares, one with the flower design and one without, which are seamed together (without breaking your working yarn to make it extra sturdy) and then finished with a scalloped edge.
The 2 flower designs add a lovely 3-dimensional detail to the pouch / bag.

It’s a beginner- / advanced beginner-friendly pattern that’s simple enough even for someone who’s never made a granny square before to follow. You’ll find photos tutorials throughout to help you follow along and links to videos are also included for you to reference if you prefer.

Throughout this pattern, the starting chain does not count as a stitch / add to the stitch count. It’s worked in rounds, without turning apart from the edging.

You’ll find these flower bags work up very quickly and can be quite addictive to make – with plenty of ways to customise it so that it feels uniquely special for you or your little flower girl.
