Little Gemstones is the perfect pattern for mini skeins or an advent set, or for just using up some left overs; choose a colour theme or go rogue and use all the colours!

This shawl is knit in one piece from the bottom up; the gems are knit as you go using simple W&T short rows without needing to pick up stitches or any seaming.

Without modification the pattern creates a total of 78 individual gems. Each gem uses a max of 9yds / 8m of yarn, yardage will vary depending on gauge and how long a yarn tail you leave.

This is a written pattern with no charts.
