PRODUCT INFORMATION

• This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
• The finished owl ends up approximately 8cm (including ears) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller owl and vice versa
• Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through
• The pattern is available in both UK and US terminology (there should be separate files)
• The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for sewing

• Suitable for advanced beginners
• Magic circle, double crochet (single crochet), half treble crochet (half double crochet), treble crochet (double crochet), increase, invisible decrease, crocheting around a chain, continuous rounds, joined rounds, crocheting in rows

MATERIALS

• 8 ply (DK) cotton in blue (for head, body, ears, wings), orange (for beak), and light blue (for feathers)
• 4 ply (Fingering) cotton in white (for eyes). Note: 8 ply (DK) cotton can be substituted (pattern includes modification)
• Optional 8 ply (DK) cotton in navy or pink (for bow)
• 3mm crochet hook for 8 ply (DK) cotton
• 2.5mm crochet hook for 4 ply (Fingering) cotton
• Yarn needle
• Black embroidery thread
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
