This is quick and easy pumpkin pattern. When I designed this, I pictured it as a gift for each guest at Thanksgiving dinner; the pumpkin would sit on a plate with a name tag determining where each person is seated. My 22 year old son and my daughter-in-love absolutely fell in love with this!

The pumpkin itself is made flat with garter stitch. There’s also directions for the stem, leaf and curly q. I used Paintbox Simply DK, but you can use any yarn you like. Gauge really isn’t important with this pattern, as I show you how to measure your cast on to determine the length of your pumpkin panel.

The pattern is easily adaptable to make a larger or smaller pumpkin and is FREE on my website.

The pumpkin used about 90 yards of the Orange color and the stem, leaf and curly q used about 20 yards. You will also need a small amount of poly-fil or stuffing to fill your pumpkin, a tapestry needle, scissors and measuring tape.
