This is a doll-sized version of my shawl Lanhydrock and will fit any 18” size doll.

Lanhydrock House is a Tudor Manor in Cornwall set in nearly 1000 acres of land ranging from woodland to formal gardens. The grounds include a church which was used by the Robartes family who owned the house for many generations.

The lace motif of this shawl is reminiscent of the church windows, and also reflects the formality of the gardens. Worked from the top down using a garter stitch tab, the delicate lace fabric gives a beautiful drape. The option of using beads in the bind off gives more weight to the edge.

Both the adult size and the doll size shawls can be made from one skein of Swan’s Island Natural Colors Merino Silk, or you can use any lace weight that gives the same gauge.
