A simple blanket knitted from 8ply on slightly larger needles, gives this baby blanket a lighter feel. Also means it knits up a bit quicker than normal and uses a bit less wool.

Bands are knitted as you go which is always a bonus.

The leaf lace stitch is easy for the average/intermediate knitter.
