Sock yarn makes great baby items. It is fine, soft, comes in a huge range of colours and possibly most importantly, it is machine washable!

Little leftovers uses less than 20g of 4 ply sock yarn. A typical pair of women’s medium sized ankle socks should give you plenty leftover from 100g for one of these hats.
