Little Max is a simple V-neck cardigan vest knit in stockinette stitch, and trimmed with garter stitch edges.

Instructions included for sizes Small (6-12 mos), Medium (12-18 mos), and Large (2-4 yrs).

Pattern includes clearly written instructions for all 3 sizes,
with detailed instructions for Right Front and Left Front shaping.
Simple buttonhole instructions are included on both front edges, making it a truly unisex garment.

Pattern requires 175/225/300 yds worsted weight yarn for sizes small/medium/large, and recommends size 8 (for body) and 6 (for garter stitch edges) needles.
Body pieces are knit flat - you can use either straight or circular needles. For the neckband, you’ll need a (24”) circular needle, to accommodate all of the stitches.

Sample is shown in size Large (2-4 years), and was knit with 2 skeins of Berroco Vintage color 5170/Sapphire.

Length can easily be adjusted, by working more or less rows before armhole shaping. Keep in mind that you may need additional yarn if making the garment longer.

Enjoy knitting this cute little vest, and please post photos to share with all of us!
