Little Miss Skull

This whimsical crocheted skull brings a playful twist to the macabre! Featuring delightful purple accents and charming bows, it’s perfect as a decoration, gift, or a quirky addition to your collection. The combination of intricate details and vibrant colors makes it a standout piece in any setting.
- This is a very forgiving pattern. You can switch up yarn and hook sizes, but keep in mind it will affect the ending size of the pattern. Also, keep in mind that using too big of a crochet hook for the yarn you choose, could lead to stuffing showing in between the stitches.
- The pattern doesn’t use much yarn so one skein of each could make you multiple skulls.
Materials:
Yarn (Worsted Weight):
White or off-white for the skull and body.
Any color of your choice for the bows, eyes, nose, and ‘teeth’. I used purple.
Crochet Hook: 4.00mm
Stuffing (Polyester fiberfill or your preferred stuffing)
Yarn Needle to sew pieces together and weave in ends.
Stitch Marker to keep track of rounds (optional but useful)
Pins (optional, but helpful for placing the pieces as well as when stitching them to the body.)
SCissors
Stitches Used:
MC = magic circle
Ch = chain
SC = single crochet
INC = increase (2 SC in one stitch)
DEC = invisible decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
Sl St = slip stitch
FO = fasten off
Abbreviation Notes:
For DEC, you insert the hook into stitch, yarn over, and pull through, then insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull through, you should now have 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
