This is a classic sweater version of the Little Nomad Romper, sized from 2 years all the way to 10 years! You can have all your little ones wear matching sweaters! How fun is that!
The sweater is worked from the bottom up, with body and sleeves knit in the round, then joined to form the yoke, which incorporates a stranded colorwork pattern.

Sizes: 2yo (4yo, 6yo, 8yo, 10yo)

To fit: 21 (23, 25, 26.5, 28)“ chest with about 2-4” of positive ease

Finished measurements: 25 (26.75, 28.5, 29.25, 31)“ circumference at chest (see the schematic in pattern)

Yarn: worsted weight wool/approximately 260 yards per 100g
Quince and Co Lark (worsted weight; 134 yards/50 g, 100% American wool)

Knitting level: Intermediate

Skills required: making increases and decreases, Kitchener stitch, circular knitting, stranded knitting (two colors), and magic loop knitting (optional)

Needles: 16” and 32” circular needles and DPNs in size necessary to obtain gauge (recommended size US 8), 16” and 29” circular needles one size larger than gauge needle (recommended size US 9)

Gauge: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st st after wet blocking
18 sts and 22 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern after wet blocking
