LITTLE OCTOPUS

Crochet yourself a cute little Octopus friend.
Whether in matching colors, rainbow themed, or multicolored – there’s no limit for your imagination.

The eight arms are crocheted to the body and are therefore tightly attached to it.

The little Octopus is a great gift for newborns and preemies. The curly arms remind the little ones of the umbilical cord and make the transition into this new, unfamiliar world a bit easier.

But older children love this little Octopus just as much and it’ll become a constant companion in no time.

All steps are explained in detail in words and pictures, so this pattern is suitable for (practiced) beginners as well.
This pattern contains 5 pages of crochet instructions and 10 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions.

Used techniques (US crochet terms): magic ring, chain, single crochet, increases and (invisible) decreases, crocheting in front loops and back loops – explained.
The figures are crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals as well as back and forth in rows.

With 3.0 mm hook and DK yarn the Octopuses get to be 7 x 17 cm tall.

You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn.
The size for he safety-eyes needs to be adjusted then though.
