The Little Rainbow Fish is a great pattern for using up scraps of yarn. Have fun with color choices, yarn weights, and hook size to change up the look.
It is the perfect size for little hands and imaginative play. Make a bunch and you’ll have a cute little school of fish for hours of fun.

The fish with the grey face was made using a 3.5mm hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarns. Finished size is 6” from nose to tail, and 3” from bottom of belly to top of dorsal fin. Black yarn was used to embroider on eyes.

The fish with the yellow face was made using a 4mm hook and Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn and other worsted weight scrap yarn. Finished size is 7” from nose to tail, and 3.5” from bottom of belly to top of dorsal fin. 2 10mm safety eyes were used.

The finished sizes are approximate and gauge is not critical to the outcome of this pattern.

Please note this is a pattern and not a finished item.
