Nothing says “North American Childhood” better than a Little Red Wagon!

This pattern is deceptively simple: it requires a total of about 64 m (70 yd) of material (medium worsted yarn in red, white, and black, for a 4.00 mm hook), and a few props (plastic canvas, cardboard, candy sticks or skewers, a straw).

The techniques are basic: foundation chain, adjustable ring, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and Crab stitch, in addition to increases.

Gauge is important only when it comes to matching the Wagon to various Toys.

The 3-page pdf pattern details written instructions, charts, and photos of stages in the process.

Enjoy!
