Little Scarf
A delicate and feminine little scarf that sits neatly around the neck and is comfortable for everyday wear. Designed as a smaller version inspired by a tassel scarf, this piece works perfectly as a lightweight accessory.
The scarf is worked from tip to tip, seamlessly, with clean, non-curling edges that lie flat and tidy. Its construction makes it approachable even for beginners.
This versatile accessory will effortlessly complement any outfit and keep you warm in cool, windy weather.
Yarn:
- Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk - 77% alpaca, 23% silk (25 g / 140 m) - 1 skein,
- Fonty Saperlipopette - 65% baby suri alpaca, 20% silk, 15% merino (25 g / 125 m) - 1 skein.
You can adjust the length of the scarf by using more or fewer skeins.
Needles and tools:
- Straight or circular needles 3.5 mm 60 or 80 cm,
- Stitch markers,
- Scissors.
Gauge:
Gauge is not crucial for this project, as you can use different yarns and needle sizes.
Approximate gauge: 20 sts x 27 rows (in stockinette stitch), using Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk.
Finished measurements (approx.):
Length: 115 cm
Width: 7 cm
The size is fully adjustable depending on your yarn, needles, and personal preference.
In this version, the scarf wraps once around the neck and ties at the front.
