Thank you so much for looking at my pattern! This is only the second pattern I have created so please feel free to provide me with any feedback!

This hat is knitted from the bottom up on straight 4mm needles (although you can also use circular!) before being seamed together at the back. It starts off with a few rows of ribbing before starting the intarsia stars. We then make decreases to form the curve of the hat and bring it all together!

The hat is currently made for newborns (7-9lbs) and 3 months (10-12lbs) however every baby is different so these weights are just used as a guideline.

This pattern is perfect for the Warm Baby Project, a baby shower or anyone wishing to knit some baby hats for their local hospital.

This pattern works with any DK wool, whether you have several balls or just some scrap pieces of yarn, this pattern is flexible! All you need is some wool, 4mm needles and a darning needle.

This pattern is perfect for beginners wishing to try intarsia for the first time. When learning intarsia myself, I started off with small and simple patterns like this. I have also included a written description for the stars if you struggle to read charts.

Feel free to tag me in any of the finished products you make by either messaging me on Ravelry or tagging @sagieknits on Instagram!

Thank you!
