This cute little scarf is nice a lightweight scarf, ideal for spring and autumn, or wrapped multiple times around the neck for those colder days. The lace motif at each end adds a nice point of interest.

Little Trees Scarf is knitted from the center, using a provisional cast on with waste yarn. Stocking stitch and a moss stitch border make up the length of the scarf. Basic lacework is used to create the little tree motif, the instructions for which are given in both written and chart form, and a moss stitch border is placed at each end.

Materials:
90 grams / 320 meters of 4 ply/fingering weight yarn.
3.5mm (UK9/US4) needle.
2 stitch markers.
Scrap yarn and crochet hook for provisional cast on.
Gauge: is gauge isn’t super important, though it will affect the width of the garment and the amount of yarn required. Mine is around 6.5 stitch/inch.

Finished dimension approx. 14 cm wide, 2.10 meters long. The length of the scarf can be increased or decreased easily by repeating the instructions for the first two rows for as long, or short as desired, though this will affect your yarn usage.
