A delicate heel flap and an extraordinary zig-zag rib come together with a touch of lace in the main body to create tulip blossoms to adorn your feet year-round. Knit from the top-down, each element of the sock flows with the rest in a fitted structure from an airy ribbing to a rounded toe.

Sizing

The stated measurements are best for a S/M foot. The length of the foot is easily adjustable within the pattern; for a different width - grab smaller or larger needles!

Materials

Up to 100g of fingering weight yarn (depending on foot length).
US 1.0 needles for ribbing: set of 5 double-pointed needles
US 1.5 needles for the main body: set of 5 double pointed needles

You may use circular needles if you prefer. You can also substitute smaller/larger needles for a different sock circumference: the ribbing should be worked with needles that are one size smaller than the needle size used for the main body.

Skills

The pattern calls for some lace work, though it is not extensive. There is a chart and a written description available - for all tastes!
