Now you can make your very own LITTLE unicorn of the sea (ie narwhal)! He is a cutie wee size version of my original Walden. He uses less yarn and is faster to make - plus he fits in your hand :)

Little Walden is about 8 to 9 inches long (from the tip of his tail fins to the tip of his horn) when using worsted weight yarn.

The pattern includes detailed instructions and step-by-step photos. And as always, with the purchase of the pattern you also get unlimited support and help from me - just send me a message if you have any questions!

This is an intermediate level pattern because of of the many colour changes. The pattern also involves single crochet, increasing, decreasing and attaching pieces.

Materials needed:

  • E US (3.5 mm) hook
  • two colours of worsted weight yarn (39 yrds for body; 17 yrds for belly)
  • yarn/tapestry needle
  • stitch marker
  • two 12 mm plastic safety eyes
  • polyester fiberfill stuffing

Note: If you are making this amigurumi for someone under 3 yrs, I recommend crocheting or embroidering the eyes instead of using the plastic safety eyes.

This pattern only includes the instructions for the small Walden
