Originally made for my niece, whose name means “wolf girl”.

Toddler socks with a curved cable running from the tip of the toe along the outside of the foot and up the leg. Worked from the toe up, with a flap-and-gusset heel and ribbed leg.

Finished foot length: 11.25 cm, to fit foot 11.5 - 12.5 cm (1-2 years).

Yarn: 106 m (116 yds) fingering weight yarn. Sample uses 25 grams of KnitPick’s Stroll Tweed, colorway Down.

This is only a rough write-up of a pair of socks I made, so there will hopefully be a better version later, with nicer pictures, better layout, and the likes. I’ve had a hard time finding childrens’ sock patterns that didn’t need heavy modifications, so I’m trying to write up patterns for the socks I’m churning out.
