These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down. The heel is worked in short rows and is reinforced using slipped stitches. Slipped stitches are also used to reinforce the toes. The pattern of the lizard feet and tail can be either worked so the feet are walking downwards or upwards; it is fun to wear one of each!

Foot circumference: 7.5” (9”, 11”) – sock is worked with about 20% negative ease

DK weight yarn, 150 g/ 410 yd
Recommended yarn: Loops & Threads Luxe Merino Wool Blend

Needles:
US Size 2 (2.75 mm) 40” circular needle for magic loop method (pattern can be adapted for double pointed needles)

Gauge:
28 sts and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
