Lizka is an asymmetrical triangle shawl knit on the bias. Garter stitch mosaic patterns are separated by slip stitch bands with colorful accents. In mosaic knitting you only work with one color per row. Stitches from the previous row are slipped purlwise, holding the yarn either in the front or the back of your work, to create beautiful motifs.

Yarn:
Gigi Bonin Hand Dyed Yarn (80% Merino Superwash, 20% Nylon; 400 yards/ 366 meters; 100g), or similar fingering weight yarn:

400 yards/ 366 meters; 100g of Zephyr (Color A, white speckle)
200 yards/ 183 meters; 50g of Bombay Blue (Color B, blue)
120 yards/ 110 meters; 30g of Flame Tanager (Color C, orange)

Color A and Color B need to stand in contrast to each other for the mosaic patterns to pop. You can stash dive and use a partial skein for the accent color (Color C) or even use a few mini-skeins (one for every slip stitch section)!

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Final measurements:
After blocking: 80 inches/ 203 cm along neck edge, 16 inches/ 41 cm at deepest point
