The Lizzie Mitt is an easy to knit fingerless mitt pattern featuring a warm, fuzzy halo snowflake in the center of the hand. You have the option of knitting fingerless mitts or making gloves. One size fits the average woman’s hand, or use one size larger needle for a slightly larger fit.

For this pattern, I have used madelinetosh Pashmina, Jupiter Moon Herriot Fine, Mrs. Crosby Hat Box and Kenzie by Hikoo. The Lizzie Mitt can be made with any fingering to DK weight. Make the snowflake with 100% alpaca similar weight yarn in a nice contrasting color. The 100% alpaca will soften the inside of the mitt if your wool is a little rough.

The main color requires 300 to 360 yards, depending on weight, and the contrasting color requires 160 yards.
