PATTERN INFO:

Skills required: Stranded or Fair Isle knitting techniques, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, and small circumference knitting.

Sizing: S (M, L) 19 (21.5, 24)“/48.5 (54.5, 61) cm. Hat depth is 8”/21cm from CO to top of crown and can be lengthened by adding rounds before starting the chart.

Yarn: Worsted Weight in two contrasting colours (dark and light)

Yardage: Small - 50yds(46m) C1, 48yds(44m) C2, Medium - 65yds(60m) C1, 56yds(52m) C2, Large - 81yds(74m) C1, 70yds(64m) C2

Needles: 3mm (US 2.5) and 4.5mm (US 7) - 16”/40cm circular needles and DPNs (or preferred method of small circumference knitting) in each size (or size required to make gauge)

Gauge: 22 sts and 24 rounds per 4”/10cm in stranded st st using larger needles
