This pattern is for Local Yarn Store Day and is FREE IF YOU BUY 2 SKEINS OF FINGERING weight yarn from a participating yarn store. The promotion will begin 8pm Friday night EST. Please try and support the cornerstones of our knitting community and fight against Big Box Storification!

Redeem your LYS Day Code here

You can buy yarn and get the pattern online or in person and you will be given an individual code which you can redeem here from Friday at 8p EST - Sunday 11pm EST. Note that the code redemption time has been pushed back to 8pm Friday due to unforseen facilities issues (aka Sharon and Fin from Interpol wrecked some shit.)

The promotion will end at 11pm Sunday so please redeem beforehand or you will need to buy the pattern. We get so much email during this time that we just need to end it Sunday night. Thanks for understanding!

If you have problems with your code, please contact the yarn store and not casapinka for help. Fyi, the letters “L” and “I” and the number “1” are frequently confused with each other when entering the code.

If you are a yarn store and would like to participate, we will do our best to get you codes. Please do not comment or message via Ravelry. Instead, email the following:

Store name, City, State, email address - all on one line - to casapinka@casapinka.com

Pattern Materials
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn, at least 320 yards, each. You can lengthen the cowl to use all of your yarn if you wish. Specific yarn colors are not given so everyone can have an equal chance to sell yarn. The cowl has 2 sections of increases so that it gradually gets larger as it grows.

US 5/3.75mm, 24” circular needle

The pattern is simple, and you will be able to relax and talk or drink wine while knitting it. Please enjoy and thanks for supporting local fiber businesses!
