Size:
baby (mini) mid (large)

Size depends on gauge. Gauge used to make these instructions is 10x10cm = 32 sts, 34rows. If your gauge differs remarkably, consider using different needle size or instructions of a different size.
Estimated outer dimension of the mittens is 12 (16) 19 (23) cm. Circumference of hand should be 1-2 cm smaller than outer dimension, depending on the fit you desire.

Yarn:
Istex Kambgarn:
C1 55g 1205 Sandshell
C2 45g 1208 Moss Green
Or other yarn the same thickness (150 m/ 50 g). These amounts are for the largest size, for the smaller sizes you need less yarn.

Needles:
2,5mm – 3,0mm or size required to get gauge right

You also need:
Blunt sewing needle.

Other notes:
The mittens are worked from the wrist to fingertips, the beginning of the round is opposite side of thumb.
The instructions are made for knitting with 4 double pointed needles.
In the two bigger sizes the wrist is quite loose, and if you like more fitted wrist, you can apply the technique of smaller sizes. Mini and Baby sizes have more fitted wrist to keep mittens into their place.

Hope You have enjoyed knitting my design!

The preliminary pattern for these mittens has
been in my sock drawer for over an year and it
took quite a many times to get them right. But
now I’m finally happy with the result and
hopefully you are too :)

I wish you cozy knitting moments!
