An easy colorwork hat designed in celebration of a new haircut, worked up in the softest Merino wool to give bare domes warmth and comfort. The stranding pattern is positioned so that the flipped-up brim doesn’t hide your beautiful colorwork.

Yarn: Chelle Colorado San Luis Valley 100% Merino worsted, 170 yds/155m, 3.2 oz/92g. Sample colors: MC = #10 Deep Grey Cloud; CC = #7 Evergreen, #3 Misty Blue #4 Spring Cloud. MC = approx. 130 yards; CC = approx. 30 yards per color.

This pattern includes both written instructions AND a color-coded chart. It was test-knit by 11 people prior to publication. It also includes a tutorial on how to measure the head and alter the pattern to get a fit you like! No more hat hair (or floppy hats that fall off your head!)
