In The Third Viking Knits Collection I featured a sleeved shawl named Logi knitted in a yarn long discontinued. I recently made a new version in Silky Wool, using the same panel, but this time separating the panels with two cables instead of one. This makes it possible to knit the sections separately and create a neck opening thereby offering new options for how to wear it.
I only put buttons along the neck opening in order to be able to wear it as a shawl, but 3 or 4 buttons and loops made on the same principle as for the neck opening and the shawl ends could be turned into sleeves.
The pattern includes the original sleeved shawl as well. Charted pattern only.
