The Loire shawl is reminiscent of the stained glass window found in the Loire Valley castles. Many of these windows arched at the top for added beauty and grace. They were surrounded by stone walls to offset their splendor.

Loire is a modified triangular shawl knit from the top down. Utilizing both simple lace and cables to create a look of stained glass. Pattern is both charted and written. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes: Small and Large.

  • One US5/3.75mm 32” circular needle.
  • Four Stitch markers
  • One Cable Needle
