Lola
DESCRIPTION
LOLA sweater is a hand-knitted piece worked in Stockinette and Quilted Stitch asymmetries between these textures.
It is an oversized and top-down sweater with a positive ease of 10 to 15 cm (4–6”).
The construction starts from the back, followed to the front, which is worked from the shoulders downward.
After joining the front and back sections, the body is knitted in the round using two different stitch patterns: one part in stockinette stitch and the other in quilted stitch.
The center stitch on both the front and the back is worked using the slipped-stitch technique, giving the sweater a decorative effect.
The neckline, cuffs, and waistband are worked in 1×1 twisted rib, which enhances the textures of the sweater.
The increases are made using yarn overs on both right-side (RS) and wrong-side (WS) rows.
