Lolina is the nickname that my daughter has given my mom. When I hear her sweet little voice call her this, I know that it means “I love you”. This shawl was designed for my mom. Just like her, it is elegant, graceful, soft… I wouldn’t say that the shawl is an absolute essential to life (though my mom is), but just like her, it is sure to make the days much sweeter.

Lolina Shawl is a top-down, triangular shawl, covered with flowery lace patterns and chained eyelets. It uses basic lace stitches on both right side and wrong side rows, to create an interesting allover pattern. It can be made using any yarn weight from lace to dk, paired with a strand of fuzzy yarn or not. It is adaptable in size, as the main sections can be repeated more or less times than the pictured shawl. Therefore, you can create the perfect shawl size for you, and make the best use of your yardage!

Yarn and yardage
570 yds of laceweight yarn held with 570 yds of laceweight mohair
