lompolo (noun)
1. a wide stream pool in a river or a small lake through which a river passes

Lompolo top is inspired by the small lake next to our cabin in the Finnish Lapland. With it’s ever moving surface and deep dark color adding a mystic and soothing atmosphere to the deep forest surrounding it.

Method:
Lompolo is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The sleeves are bat wing shaped and knit together with the
body. The increases are incorporated in the lace pattern. The slanted shoulders are shaped with german short
rows and then you get instructions for either seaming them shut or using three needle bind off.

Yarn:
270 (280, 280, 280, 280, 290, 300, 300, 300, 320, 320, 320, 330, 330, 330) grams of fingering weight yarn,
400m/100g. The sample in the pictures are knit using Sägen Mermaid from Elk market yarn (50% BFL, 50% silk)
in colourway Svartgölen.

Sizes:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)
Refer to size chart for measurements of each size. All measurements are in centimeters.
Recommended ease is 0-5 cm at the hip.
All measurements are of finished garment.

Gauge:
Stockinette stitch - 26 sts x 38 rounds = 10 cm

3 mm circular needle, at least 80 cm long
5 stitch markers
Wool needle
Waste yarn or stitch holder
Crochet hook 3mm for cast on and bind off
