The London Hat is a beginner friendly, simple and classic beanie knitted from the brim up. This pattern is fun and a super quick knit making it a satisfying project and great piece to gift. This timeless unisex rib design was originally featured in Knitting Magazine issue 268 using beautifully soft yarn from talented indie yarn dyer Helen from The Wool Kitchen.

YOU WILL NEED
The Wool Kitchen Aran Hat Cake
This yarn is a specially pre-wound cake of aran-weight Merino wool, with hand-dyed laceweight silk mohair wound on the outside. Use a strand of the silk-mohair from the outside of the cake together with a strand of the wool from the middle of the cake.

Aran-weight yarn:
100% superwash Merino wool (approx 190m per 115g).
Laceweight yarn:
50% silk, 50% kid mohair (approx 160m per 20g).

1 x Aran Hat Cake (samples shown are worked in Neon Only, Neon Glow and She’s Electric).
4.5mm needles circular needles or DPNs, stitch markers, scissors and tape measure.
