An everyday, indoor-outdoor piece, this cowl is a single loop that features the pine tree motif. Use a contrast colour to add a pop to the ribbing, and make it as long as you want by adding more stitches.

Materials:

  • 1 skein of Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Worsted, or similar weight yarn
  • 1 pair 4.5mm (US size 7) circular needles or DPNs

The Lone Pine cowl is also featured in an eBook of accessory patterns with the tree motif - make yourself a toque and mittens to match! Two skeins of TFA PureWash Worsted will make all three accessories.

If you’re not interested in pine trees, this pattern is great on its own! Use that wild speckly skein or just a plain one to make a cowl that matches everything.
