My husband asked me for a Texas State Flag hat. He did so while wearing his Maryland State Flag hat while we were experiencing a historical weather event in our new home in East Texas.

Finished Size: 21.75” circumference, 8” hem to tip, easily adjustable
Yarn: Plymouth Encore, 75% Acrylic/25% wool, 200 yards/100g. Sample uses approximately 60 yards of white, 45 yards of red, 10 yards of blue. Use any worsted or light worsted yarn. I used what I had on hand, stuck at home during a snow storm!

Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm) to knit straight, plus your favorite method for knitting small circumferences in the round

Gauge: 18 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette, knit flat.
