Long Crimp Cowl
This pattern is part of The Bendigo Project, 2026 and will be published on Saturday 28th of March 2026. The theme for The Bendigo Project in 2026 is Texture & Twist, a delightful exploration of knit and crochet textured stitch patterns and cables. The Bendigo Project Knitalong will commence on Saturday 28th of March at 7.30pm via Zoom, and will conclude with a meet up at The Australian Sheep and Wool Show, in Bendigo, Saturday July 18th 2026.

Introducing the Long Crimp Cowl, one of my contributions to The Bendigo Project 2026 collection! along with the Short Crimp Cowl and the Staple Poncho.
The Long Crimp Cowl is a looser fitting, lighter-weight option, designed for two colour play. Great for using minis!
Wear the cowl with the point at the back under a jacket for a super warm neck.
Inspired by the natural waviness of wool fibres, the Crimp granny square design embraces this year’s theme of Texture & Twist.
The Crimp Cowls highlight the tactile surface of wool in granny square form, creating an accessory that celebrates the structure of wool.
Sizing and fit
One size. This is a loose fitting cowl.
